Welcome Nancy Dankof's work to our taproom! Come view her paintings and mixed-media work from Tuesday, March 3 through Sunday, April 12.
From the Artist:
"I have always had a passion for art which is inspired by the colors in nature. I photograph images focusing on a shape, color, person, object that has caught my eye. I later might interpret that photo or part of that photo into a painting. I began expressing the beauty around me with watercolor but now I am mostly experimenting with acrylics and mixed media. I use a variety of methods and try new techniques. I find joy creating and discovering new skills. I like to explore and see if I can find success. Current projects are focused more on layering acrylics, collage, stencils, and markings, building up texture. Each layer adds color and contrasts that help determine what object will appear. A story or emotion evolves a reflection to the viewer."
