From the Artist:
Emily Combs is an artist and woodworker from Springfield, Ohio. Her current collection, “Wood Mosaics,” draws inspiration from her travels across the country. Each mosaic is meticulously crafted using only hand tools. First, wood is cut with a jigsaw, then each piece is carved, burned, sanded, and stained before being assembled like a puzzle. Emily hopes her art brings joy to viewers and inspires them to seek adventure.
