Bartender/Front of HousE - Columbus

Job Summary:

Provide service to guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner that ensures a positive, unique experience for all patrons. Directly report to General Manager. Will also take direction from Shift Leader on duty.

General Accountabilities:

• Greet customers upon arrival

• Discuss and go into detail with drink & food options with guests to determine their needs

• Accurately maintain guest tabs, receive payment and issue receipts

• Monitor guest during their visit to provide for their needs

• Strictly abide by state liquor regulations; verify legal drinking age of patrons

• Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of beers, food and cocktails on the menu

• Understand product quality and proper procedures surrounding quality issues

• Make keg changes when necessary

• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned

• Attend scheduled staff meetings 

• Maintain open communication with Manager and/or Shift Leader

• Perform additional duties as assigned by Manager and/or Shift Leader

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Two to four years service industry experience. Craft beer experience and passion a plus.

• TIPS training and Brewery Education scheduled upon hire.

• Must be 21+ years of age.

• Coordination, ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Hours Required:

• Flexible schedule, some weekends and holidays required

• Up to 30 hours/week
